aw man. i don’t really know what’s different about today, but everything has just been funny! such a good tuesday.

maybe it’s got something to do with having finally watched the legendary post-superbowl episode of the office last night. or maybe it’s related to the joy of watching the bachelor with friends and mercilessly poking fun at clothing selections. (i know, so wrong. but hey-you sign up to go on national tv and you get an agent… along with a few thousand critics.) or maybe it’s because tuesday is just one day closer to the weekend. wheeeeee!

funny 1: i might have run over [another] pigeon in the parking garage this morning. most birds explode, but this one flattened out nicely. kinda like a pancake. he’s still on the 3rd floor if you’d like to take a look.

funny 2: you all know i love my TOMS. i wore destroyed my red pair hiking a mountain in haiti last year… i got made fun of because they probably weren’t the best choice of footwear for hiking. (but at least they matched my outfit!) today i read about TOMS donating 100,ooo pairs of shoes to haitians affected by hurricane ike and it made me giggle. there were barefoot haitians hiking that mountain five times faster than me–give them shoes and they’ll be a force to be reckoned with. and i’ll still be hitching a ride on the one-eyed donkey.

funny 3: i just went downstairs to the deli to grab a dr pepper and i overheard a very important-looking man ordering a “tort-ill-uh” wrap. hee hee.
