addiction.
i forgot how much i enjoy watching the olympics. for real. this stuff is pretty amazing… the athletes blow my mind and i’m in awe of all the detail that goes into such a huge production. does anyone else feel like they’re watching a bunch of superheroes on tv? the level of intensity is just unreal. gosh, i break a sweat just watching.
some people grow up with dreams of competing in the olympics. very admirable. but i think i’ll settle for dreaming of attending an olympic event someday. maybe vancouver in 2010?
as much as i love the olympics, there are a few things that have bothered me:
- why on EARTH do all of the female gymnasts wear scrunchies in their hair?!? i know you need your hair up and out of your face, but is a normal hair tie just not sufficient?
- what happened to the group synchronized swimming competition? that was the hottest sport ever.
- i have absolutely loved watching michael phelps. but i’m afraid he’s half an inch away from a wardrobe malfunction. besides, if his uniform is riding that low, his butt crack has got to be getting some fresh air.
