owen update

for those of you who remember back in march when my sweet friend’s 5 month old son was diagnosed with cancer, i thought i’d give you a little update.

baby owen’s been through 4 rounds of chemo since the diagnosis and he went back to the doctors this week to do the scans and see how the cancer has responded.

jamie said that, so far, all of the test results have been great! there are no more spots on his liver, the tumor in his chest has disappeared (with the exception of a small calcium deposit), and there appears to be no cancer in his spinal column. absolutely amazing! the lord has been so gracious to heal sweet owen and to keep his spirits high during treatments… the dude is an absolute trooper.

jamie and wesley will be meeting with the doctors on monday for the official consultation and to discuss where to go from here.
