this one’s for the girls.

for those of you who know me well, you know that i go as long as humanly possible without washing my hair. there are a few reasons for that.

1. if my hair’s not dirty, why wash it? i think that we, as a society, might be a little preoccupied with the idea of the washing of one’s hair… just like wearing makeup. who needs it?!? ha!

2. my hair doesn’t start getting oily until about day 5.

3. i hate drying my hair. ugh. i despise it.

4. i hate styling my hair.

BUT once my hair is dryed and styled, it is pretty much good to go until the next washing. fairly low-maintenance for the most part. for oily days, baby powder is a nice cover up!

when my hair is curly, i can regularly go 7 days without washing it. but when it is straight, it is much trickier and i usually can’t make it past 4 days.

BUT today marks a new record. today makes eight days straight! oh, the simple joys in life…
