still alive!

hi friends. despite what many of you may be thinking, i have not died… and i really don’t even have a good excuse for my absence from here. my recent trip to haiti has absolutely wrecked my world. it’s inspired and challenged me but, for some reason, i have had the hardest time sitting down and finding the words to express it to you. i’m a writer… i should know how to do that. but every attempt is such mockery in the light of experience.

so… bear with me. it will come.
