prayers please

those of you who have been reading for a while may remember my recent trip to north carolina to visit my wonderful friends, jamie and wesley. it was a wonderful visit and i thoroughly enjoyed getting to love on their baby boy, owen. such a precious child.
baby owen was diagnosed with cancer today. his pediatrician was concerned that his liver was enlarged and so he was sent to the hospital for a few tests and, within a few hours, it was confirmed that it is cancer. he has a mass in his chest and places on his liver. the doctors will be performing a biopsy tomorrow (thursday) morning and placing a port in his chest to begin chemo.
please be in prayer for wesley, jamie, and owen… there are so many questions right now. pray for wesley and jamie, that the lord would guide them during this difficult time and give them strength, as well as rest. pray for sweet owen… for the lord’s healing of his precious 5 month-old body.
