today, august 3rd, is laundry day. i think we could have bought a washing machine with all the quarters we’ve spent at the laundromat.

my roommate’s boyfriend, carman, will be in town next week. i think i might need to holy ghost hop my tail over to tbn to see satan bite the dust with my own eyes. okay… so she’s not really dating carman. but i think love is in the air.

i love downtown dallas at night… last night we went to chuy’s and attempted to see jon mclaughlin at the house of blues. why didn’t we buy our tickets early? doh! jon’s obviously more popular than i gave him credit for… his show sold out. so, we walked over to victory park and grabbed gelato instead. mmm.

i’ve got an appointment with the audiologist this afternoon. there’s construction going on in the floor above my office and so i think today’s probably a good day to not be able to hear.

i might start working with a group of high school students at carrie’s new church. although i don’t plan on being in dallas too much longer, i hate not being involved. so… they need someone to lead on wednesday nights and i just might do it!

i totally just ate an entire bag of lay’s kettle cooked jalapeno chips. thank goodness it was the individual size bag!
